What I offer

One-On-One Coaching

Private coaching is a safe space to fully explore your experience with maladaptive daydreaming and create a plan that works for you. Every session lasts 1 hour. You can choose up to 4 sessions weekly. Here is an example of how our sessions could look like:

  1. Understanding Your Daydreaming Patterns

    • We’ll explore when and why your daydreaming episodes happen.

    • Together, we’ll identify the role daydreaming plays in your life (for example: escaping stress, filling unmet needs, or coping with emotions).

    • We’ll look at when it started and what triggers keep the cycle going.

  2. Building Awareness

    • You’ll start tracking your daydreaming episodes to see patterns more clearly.

    • I’ll provide a personalized Daydreaming Diary template to help you reflect daily on triggers, urges, and progress.

  3. Creating Your Personalized Plan

    • We’ll use research-based strategies (like implementation intentions and other cognitive-behavioral tools) to gently reduce your daydreaming.

    • You’ll also receive a customized grounding strategies template, which are practical tools you can use in real time when you feel the urge to daydream.

    • We’ll set small, achievable steps so the process never feels overwhelming.

  4. Rebuilding Real-Life Engagement

    • This is where the real magic happens. Once daydreaming no longer takes up so much space, you’ll have the freedom to start filling your life with new experiences, goals, and connections.

    • We’ll focus on helping you rediscover passions, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and take on challenges you may have avoided in the past.

    • Whether it’s managing emotions, starting a new project, meeting people, or going after opportunities you once only dreamed about, this is your chance to create a real life that feels just as exciting as your daydreams.

Group Coaching

Group coaching might help you feel less isolated, more motivated, and more supported, while still gaining access to the same grounding strategies from one-on-one sessions. Every session lasts 1 hour. You can choose once or twice weekly sessions. Here’s what you can expect:

  1. A Supportive Community

    • Share your experiences in a safe, non-judgmental space.

    • Hear from others who face similar struggles and celebrate small victories together.

  2. Shared Learning

    • Learn strategies not only from me but also from your peers.

    • Group discussions often spark new insights and give you fresh perspectives on your own patterns.

  3. Structured Guidance

    • Each session includes focused topics and practical tools to help reduce daydreaming and strengthen coping skills.

    • You’ll get prompts and exercises you can practice between sessions.

  4. Encouragement & Accountability

    • Progress feels easier when you’re cheered on by others walking the same path.

    • You’ll find motivation in knowing you’re part of a team working toward the same goal.

Disclaimer. Each group consists of 3-5 maladaptive daydreamers. Group sessions require a minimum of 3 participants. If your chosen group has fewer than 3 members, you’ll be placed on a waiting list until the group reaches the required size.
